Business English - Intermediate Level
The Intermediate Business English is for students who have successfully completed the Pre-Intermediate Business English course or who have a good knowledge of Business English and want to expand and become more confident in using English in the work place or are seeking a promotion.
The course is based on conversations and tasks used in everyday situations in the work place such as:
- Communicate confidently in everyday business situations
- Use and understand International English
- Understand global business cultures
- Follow a comprehensive course-book based on interesting themes, ideas and topics, while homework exercises mean that you can continue learning outside the classroom
- Have regular checks on your progress in grammar and vocabulary and your teacher will give you feedback and guidance in all areas throughout the course.
Intermediate Business English addresses all four skill areas where listening and reading texts are kept to manageable lengths and speaking and writing tasks have structured support, therefore placing realistic demands on students in terms of support.

The Intermediate Business English Course is a twelve - eighteen week intensive course with all lessons being held in the language Lab. At an established point in the course the student will receive advice on their progress, areas for improvement and advice for future studies.
The student will receive a certificate for Business English ESP (which is recognized worldwide) at the end of the course if they have attended at least 80% of the classes and satisfactorily completed all relevant parts to the course.
Students who complete the Intermediate Business English course may wish to do the TOEIC course and/or examination for a promotion in the work place.
