English, French or Italian special courses - Corporate Clients
English for Oil and Gas is designed for employees who work in this field. It combines grammar with the specialist vocabulary and skills that the learner needs to succeed in their chosen field.
Level one, English for oil and gas is for learners with a basic knowledge of general English, who now require an elementary English course in this specific field. It includes:
- Topics that reflect the latest developments in the oil industry, making them immediately relevant to the learners needs
- Clearly defined language and function objectives which are backed up by comprehensive on the page language boxes
On the courses, the learner will:
- Participate in dynamic classes to make their English come alive
- Learn essential techniques and phrases for everyday situations
- Communicate with more confidence and fewer errors
- Follow a comprehensive course-book based on interesting themes, ideas and topics, while homework exercises mean that you can continue learning outside the classroom
- Have regular checks on your progress in grammar and vocabulary and your teacher will give you feedback and guidance in all areas throughout the course.
- The English for Oil and Gas (1) course is a twelve week intensive course with all lessons being held in the Language Lab. At an established point in the course the student will receive advice on their progress, areas for improvement and advice for future studies. Then, at the end of the course, the teacher's recommendation will determine whether the student moves to English for Oil and Gas (2)
The student will receive a certificate at the end of the course if they have attended at least 80% of the classes and satisfactorily completed all relevant parts to the course.
