International School

Education is the lifeblood of progress. The English education system is ranked as the 6th best education system in the world 1 (the USA is ranked at 14, France is 23rd and Italy 25th). The Academy houses the only International British School in Pointe-Noire in the Republic of Congo. The school follows the programmes of study and attainment targets of the National curriculum of England. The school's teachers are qualified and experienced. The teachers are from the USA, the United Kingdom, Australia and other Anglophone countries. Fully equipped, modern and safe, the school caters for children aged from early years foundation stage to the end of Primary School, and then to year 11. Families who thus want their children to have an English-based education can rest assured that our school in Pointe-Noire will nurture and educate their children to an equivalent standard of education that their children would receive in the United Kingdom.  Pupils who have attended the International British Primary School will be able to transition seamlessly to any English-based school in any country after leaving the Congo. Many schools in Pointe-Noire offer children an International education but the AIBPS International School has the facilities, teachers and resources to call itself truly International. The school provides education for the children of employees of all the major International companies in Pointe-Noire, TOTAL E&P, ENI, Schlumberger, Weatherford, Tractafric, Congo Terminal, SGS, and many more, as well as providing education for the children of individual families. Having children from over 20 different nationalities attend the school is an especially proud achievement for the school. Language Learning

The English language is spoken worldwide. It is the most powerful business language in the world, not only in developed countries, but also in the developing economies of Congo-Brazzaville, Gabon, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Angola and beyond. Learning English is an investment for the future. Learn English in Pointe-Noire, Congo at Connie's Academy. English lessons taught by native English speakers are usually given in England, USA or Australia, but Connie's Academy is the first and only English Language School of its kind in Pointe-Noire, offering real English, taught by native English teachers. 

The Academy is teaching English to all generations. If you are an adolescent or adult, we offer the Learn * Live courses, where you can learn General English or Business English from an elementary level to advanced, or enrol for TOEFL exam preparation or TOEIC exam preparation courses, an intensive English course and take part in English conversation classes. For children from as young as 2 to 8 years old, we offer the Play * Learn * Speak English courses, while for children between the ages of 9 to 15 years, the school offers the Learn * Speak English courses.

If you represent a company, we offer a Corporate Tailoring program where we will develop English, French, Italian or Portuguese courses especially for your company that incorporates teaching the specialised language suitable for your key business areas and your business terminologies, adapted to your employee schedules and your business.
